APPLY NOW - HEADWATERS RENTALS

  

There are still a few units left at Headwaters. Catalyst Community Developments Society is looking for tenants for:


Two 2-bedroom Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) units and one 3-bedroom RGI unit


Gross Income Household Requirements:

  • 2-Bedroom Units: $2,167/month to $6,208/month ($26,000/year to $74,500/year)
  • 3-Bedroom Unit: $2,167/month to $6,958/month ($26,000/year to $83,500/year)


Occupancy Requirements:

  • At least two people in the household for a 2-bedroom unit
  • At least three people in the household for a 3-bedroom unit


 Applications for Headwaters must be submitted by email with PDF attachments to rentheadwaters@catalystcommdev.org. Follow this link for the application forms. 


If you are applying for an (RGI) unit you must also apply to the BC Housing Registry at https://housingapplication.bchousing.org/olf/faces/welcome.

PETERSON DRIVE FOURPLEXES UPDATE

The originally Price Restricted Resident Restricted Homeownership project on Petersons have been changed into an Essential Worker Rental project.


The Peterson Drive fourplexes project site was recently partially cleared and BC Hydro and other servicing installed. Further design of the two fourplexes is ongoing and further construction expected in 2025.

STRATEGIC PLAN: 2024-2027

The Tofino Housing Corporation has released its 2024-2027 Strategic Plan. The Strategic Plan updates THC's current contributions and outlines the four focus areas of the Tofino Housing Corporation for the future: Housing Development, Funding, Communications and Advocacy, and Organizational Development and strategic priorities and actions required to facilitate the development of at least 49 below market rental units and Price Restricted Resident Restricted homes in the next 5 years.
